My mother used to have me in dresses nearly everyday. It`s not that I wasn`t that girly, but I always preferred hanging with the boys. I loved playing dolls and everything, but guys were always easier and more fun to talk to. And when I wanted to play rough games with them at recess, it was a little hard to do in a dress.
Well, I could now regress back ot being eight years old and spend a whopping $128 on a cotton and linen jumper from Anthropologie. I do have to say I commend them for making it a little more grown-up with the cut outs at the side of the chest, but finding something perfect to wear under it may be hard. I do have a gray strapless, lace covered bra that could look cute under it.
What so you remember hating wearing to school as a kid?
Did your mom dress you in things you hated all the time?
When did she start letting you express yourself through your clothes?
