I don`t usually make reviews about movies and films but after watching Les Miserables last night in the cinema, I felt the urge to write something about it.
There`s nothing much to say about the story because it was from a book but I found it a bit `short for sense.` It`s storyline is very simple but making it a musical made it interesting. I also like the quality of the video and audio. It is consistently clear and audible, not like other movies where you can easily notice a shift in volume (making me deaf.) The casting was superb! Each character was well played most especially Fantine, portrayed by the Anne Hathaway, who made us all feel her pain and misery. I can say that each scene was enacted very convincingly from the reactions of the audience, how they laughed, cheered, fell silent, and laughed in each song.
I`d say it`s a must-watch movie of 2013 especially for those who have read the book/s. It`s very different and interesting. Although it was for about three hours, I still enjoyed it. I will give it a 9 points out of 10.
