This past weekend I decided to cook something simple and yummy for myself and my family and since I had those frozen meatballs I thought about making them a little more appetizing. I had some different types of cheese in my fidge so I decided to mix them with the meat balls and the result was amazing.
To make those simple yet super delicious cheesy meatballs you are going to need.
-frozen meatballs (or you can make your own and season them as you like)
-Two different types of cheese (here I used queijo minas (very specific from my country) and mozzarella cheese
Okay, now the meatballs I had were seasoned already, but I stil sprinkled some oregano on them because it makes all the difference.
What I did was, I waited for them to defrost, then when I was able to manage them I cut some little pieces of the mozzarella cheese and put them inside the meatballs making sure they were well closed.
After doing that with all my meatballs I fried them in low heat and waited for them to cook perfectly inside and out. When I took them from the friyng pan I immediatelly placed some slices of the white cheese over them, as you can see on the picture, so the heat would melt them.
After putting the white cheese I sprinkled some oregano and they were ready to be eaten. The two types of cheese that I chose to make this recipe go very well together and the flavors do not crash with one another.
Everybody loved them! I know it`s not the healtiest meal, but it was sunday and we of course don`t eat them every day.
Let me know what you guys think of the recipe
