with the weather getting warmer and me getting more of a tan, i am now able to use my laura mercier tinted moisturizer. in my summer shade which is "sand".
i find that during summer, wearing a full on foundation is just too much of a hassle and just not necessary for me atleast. i just want something easy that will even out my complexion and have spf in it.
i have used both the oil free version and the "original" and i think i prefer the original version better.
but with that being said i do love this tinted moisturizer.
its really easy to apply, it sets on my skin really nicely and evenly. it also looks extremely natural.
it also feels really nice on my skin, and is really light weight feeling on my face. its like i am not wearing any sort of face makeup at all.
it has decent coverage for a tinted moisturizer. meaning light coverage. but it does say you can build it up for more coverage, which i personally haven`t tried. i like the "fresh face" look in the summer, that lets some of my skin imperfections show a little.
my only dislikes about this tinted moisturizer is i don`t find it to be very moisturizing. so i always apply a face moisturizer before i apply a tinted moisturizer.
i think the original version was more moisturizing atleast on my skin.(this is the only difference i can tell between them)
the other is the price which is $42, which is pretty steep.
overall i would recommend the laura mercier tinted moisturizers. i think this oil free version would better suit someone with more oily skin. i actually have more dry skin so i think thats why i prefer the original.
but i definitely will be repurchasing this tinted moisturizer when mine runs out, but probably the original version.
have you tried any of the laura mercier tinted moisturizers? which one and did you like them?
