During testing weeks I pretty much never step foot into my kitchen. I just don`t have the time to cook haha. Since I don`t cook, I go out to eat with my friends and "study". We went to an asian cafe to grab some food because they have happy hour from 10-12, so pretty late at night. Since it was finals week, the place was extremely packed! Luckily we were seated super fast.
I didn`t want something too heavy so I opted for the Taiwanese spaghetti. I highly doubt the dish is Taiwanese lol. It`s a huge plate of pasta with a tart tomato sauce topped with a fried egg. A tart tomato sauce sounds weird but it`s actually pretty tasty. The egg is just a regular fried egg, nothing too special. I finished the whole plate and was extremely full. The huge plate of the pasta and the egg filled me up. The best part was that the plate only cost $1.99! The perfect price for poor college students.
I love restaurants that understand that college students don`t have much money to spend. It definitely works out in our favorite. This was the perfect snack/meal to keep me up. Plus it saved my ever decreasing checking and savings account.
