After that buzz created when H&M announced that Lana del Rey will be their new face campaign, we now have the chance to see the first results of their collaboration.
The campaign ads were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in a very L.A. noir mood, how H&M creative director, Donald Schneider, describes it.
The collection depicts Lana wearing a mix of pieces ranging from a green sweater to printed leggings, a tweed biker jacket, wool faux-fur-trimmed coat and tweed figure-hugging faux-leather-trimmed dress.
The hairstyling and make-up have the singer`s signature 60s style beehive bouffant and cat-eyes.
Lana del Rey will star in a TV advertisement for the brand and will perform a cover of Blue Velvet. The mini-film will be released on H&M`s website on September 19th.
