It may seem a lie, but a Hungarian designer has created a street lighting that uses rainwater and solar energy to operate. Incredible, no? Adam Mikloski decided to mimic the shape of a plant in the project named "Mango" in which the top of their "leaves" captures the energy through solar panels and its tapered portion drains rainwater.
According to the website ecodevelopment, the invention was one of 10 finalists in the competition "Design Competition to Change the Future of India". The solution promises to revolutionize the ecological infrastructure improvements and use of natural resources in the country.
