Kung Pao Beef

Last night my mom made kung pao beef for the first time. Its basically just like the kung pao chicken that you get at Chinese restaurants but she made it with a twist by using beef instead of chicken and adding in more vegetables.

Here is what you need:
-Green peppers
-Red peppers
-Chili sauce
-Beef sausage
-Water chestnuts
-Soy sauce
-Salt and pepper

-Pour some oil in a hot pan
-Start with the beef and beef sausages.
-Put them aside when finished
-Using the same pan, place oil in it again along with your peanuts, ginger, and garlic. Cook until peanuts are golden in color.
-Pour out the peanuts into a separate bowl.
-Next, cook all the vegetables in the same pan. Youll want to cook it for about 5-10 minutes but not longer as you dont want your veggies soggy.
-Mix in the meat and peanuts to your vegetables.
-Drizzle the soy sauce, salt, pepper, and chili sauce.
-Stir the sauces and vegetables.
-Taste to make sure you like the flavor, add in more chili sauce if you want it to be more spicy.
-Place in a dish and your ready to serve!

This dish goes very well with a bowl of white rice. Its an easy dish to make thats filled with lots of vegetables. This dish is also something thats easy to adjust to your own liking as you can chose which proteins you want in it as well as the vegetables.
