With three teams still undefeated in Div.1 NCAA football, there lies the chance that one team can remain undefeated through the whole season and still not be National Champions. Currently Kansas State University, Oregon and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame are undefeated and are ranked 1,2, and 3 respectfully in the latest BCS football poll that decides the eventual national champion. This is just proof in the pudding that a playoff is the only real answer to decide the national champion and not computer generated polls. One of these teams could possible be very disappointed at the end of the season knowing they have gone through the whole season without a blemish on their record and still wind up as only the second best team in the land. Currently, KSU is leading in the BCS polls and are my pick to win it all. However, I would hate to be the team that finishes undefeated and winds up second to KSU. I would want to be able to play them and have the National Championship decided between the lines; on the field of play and not by a computer. What do you think? Talk to me.
1) Do you think that a BCS playoff should be mandatory to decide the eventual National Champions in college football?
2) Who do you think is going to be the BCS National Champion?
