The Vietnamese have their version of the savory crepe/pancake called Banh Xeo, which I absolutely love! And the Koreans have this version, the Scallion Pancake which I always make sure to order if I am ever in a Korean restaurant. The key to a good tasting scallion pancake is the kimchi flavoring.
Although I love ordering these, as I did last night, they are also fairly easy to make at home too.
Mix together sifted flour, an egg, water, kimchi juice, scallions, and a bit of salt, and you`ll have the perfect batter for the pancake.
