There are so many different spellings for the Korean rice cakes - duk bokki, teok bokki...etc.
These rice cakes are super delicious if you can handle the heat. The main ingredient is the gochujang which gives it the flavor, gochujang is a red pepper paste that is really thick in consistency. You can whatever you like in the dish, meat or vegetables. The classic would be fish cakes and onions. I recently made my own and put ramen noodles and crack eggs into it. The dish is so easy to make and is very filling.
