I went to K-town with my friend awhile ago and we didn`t know what to get, but we knew we wanted Korean food. She told me about a cheap place called Food Gallery which offers lots of dishes--anything you could want (even Red Mango!) and there`s a communal place to eat upstairs.
I wanted to try jajamyun because I always saw it in Korean dramas and it always looked so good! There were fat chewy noodles, pork, onion, and black bean sauce. It was oilier than I thought it would be, and while it was good to try something new, it`s not a dish I would eat again. My friend got the fried dumplings post here: http://www.luuux.com/food/korean-fried-dumplings-mandu. Food Gallery 32 is located in K-town in NYC on W 32nd st, but I`ve heard there are cheaper places a few blocks away (K-town is a bit overpriced).
What`s your favorite Korean dish?
