Korean Beansprouts Recipe =)

One of my favorite Korean side dishes is the boiled beansprouts. They have so much flavor and they`re super healthy for you =)

My boyfriend is a chef so he actually taught me how to make my own beansprouts at home so I can eat them anytime I want since I love them so much!

First you take the beansprouts and rinse them with cold water to give them a good wash.

Boil some water, but not too much, about 1 cup of water for every cup of beansprouts. Add a bit of salt to it.

Once the water has boiled, put the beansprouts in and let it boil for about 5 minutes. The important thing was to not overcook it. The beansprouts should be tender but still crisp on the outside.

Drain the water and rinse the beansprouts again with cold water and then drain thoroughly.

Once it`s been drained, put it in a large mixing pot and add some salt, sesame oil and other seasoning such as chopped chili peppers in. Mix it by hand.

And that`s how you make Korean beansprouts, similar to the ones you eat at Korean restaurants for side dishes.
