I have lived in Southern California all my life and I have never been to Knott`s Berry Farm let alone the "sister" park, Knott`s Soak City but hopefully this summer I can drag my boyfriend and some friends to Knott`s Soak City! I love going on water rides so I think I would enjoy this water park especially since all the rides involves water, duh! =) At Knott`s Soak City there are 11 total slides and attractions! The tickets are pretty reasonable too, $25.99 each online or $32.99 at the gate. It`s a huge $7 discount if you buy online, you can save that money to pay for parking which is pretty steep, it`s $12 per car.
What kind of rides are there?
1 - Pacific Spin - This is the newest attraction and out of 5, it`s an aggressive thrill. You`re sliding down a 132 foot long tunnel then dropped into a 75 feet six story funnel.
2 - Coronado Express - You`re in a circular raft, this is probably like the Raft ride at Seaworld, this would probably be my favorite!
3 - La Jolla Falls - 80 ft tall slide!
4 - Imperial Run - Slide out of 6 tubes.. each one are different!
5 - Palisades Plunge - Slide down tube slides!
8 - Solano Storm Watch Tower - You`re sliding out of a tube!
7 - Balboa Bay - This is a 500,000 gallon water fun pool!
8 - Dick`s Beach House - Kid rides..
9 - Sunset River -Kid rides..
10 - Gremmie Lagoon - Kid rides..
11 - Tykes Trough - Kid rides..
It`s neat how they named all the rides from places around Southern California.
Have you ever been to Knott`s Soak City? Did you have fun? If not, have you ever been to a water park? If so, did you have tons of fun or was it a bit childish?
