Kimbab translates to laver (seaweed) rice. There are many kinds such as kimchi, tuna, glass noodle, chicken, beef, etc. The main ingredients are roasted laver, rice, and sesame oil. Sesame oil is used instead of rice vinegar. However, you can use rice vinegar and I have for some extra flavour. Last night I had beef kimbab for dinner. The filling, in addition to beef, was imitation crabsticks, pickled radish, spinach, and carrots.
