Love them or hate them, you won`t be able to get rid of them. The latest venture of the Kardashians` has been into the world of beauty. Their beauty line, Khroma Beauty, is trickling into stores. It will be a drugstore line that will appear in stores like CVS, Ulta, and Sears. I spotted the collection at my local Ulta and decided to try one piece. I picked up Khloe`s Kardazzle Face Palette.
The palette comes with 8 eye shadows, a blush, a bronzer, and a highlighter. The packaging is basically the exact same thing as the Too Faced To-Go palettes where the eye shadows are stored up top and the face products pull out from a little drawer below. The compact also comes with a mirror.
The shadows in Khloe`s palette are on the warm side. Very appropriate for a summer bronzey look. The shadows are decently pigmented (much better in quality than what I was expecting) and blend fairly well. You really need a primer under them to make the colors stand out and last. I like how there are matte shades along with the shimmery shades. The whole top row of shadows are matte where the bottom row is all shimmery/metallic shades.
The face products pack a punch. They were MUCH more pigmented than I expected, so apply with a light hand. They are super powdery and may make a bit of a mess. The shades are pretty universally flattering, though I feel the shade that is meant to be a bronzer performs better as a blush. It simply is not dark or brown enough to really be a bronzer. The blush and bronzer are both matte and the highlighter is obviously shimmery. The highlighter is actually very pretty and glowy, but again, apply with the light hand.
Overall, for $12.99 this palette is pretty decent. It`s compact enough to take with you on the go and for traveling. The quality of the eye shadows aren`t the best I`ve seen or used, but for the price and this being a drugstore product, I think they perform well enough. The inclusion of matte shadows along with shimmery shadows makes this palette versatile and truly all-in-one.
