My aunts friend made these Key Lime White Chocolate cookies for a party she was throwing this weekend and ohhh my these are the most delish cookies, ever! Now, I`m a huge fan of white chocolate, but the white chocolate in this cookie is only used to help enhance the key lime flavor in the cookies. Even the people who don`t like white chocolate (like my mother) were raving over these cookies. I don`t think they`re meant to be green, I think she put green food coloring in them so people wouldn`t just assume it was a white chocolate chip cookie. As you chew it, you definitely get that key lime flavor -- but it`s not overwhelming, very mild, and the white chocolate gives it a nice subtle sweetness that aids in enhancing the lime flavor. So delicious! I ate 2 of them before I had to tell myself to leave the cookies alone LOL.
I don`t have the recipe, but there are a number of varieties online that I`ve spotted since looking into making these myself.
Have you ever had a key lime white chocolate cookie?
