Urban kayaking has gotten really popular the last 5-10 years as cities are cleaning up their local rivers. This is evident from Crispy`s post of her own Kayak experience - http://www.luuux.com/sport-fitness/kayaking-my-kind-town-chicago In New York you can also do it as well. And one of the most recommended kayak tours is from Liberty Park where you`re just next to the State of Liberty with a view of New York`s amazing skyline that beats any Midwest city`s skyline. =) You can do it through http://www.atlantickayaktours.com/ There are also other tours run by at least one other group that I know of on the Lower West Side. It`s a great way to visit New York and see it. Just be careful out there as there are tons of ferries in the New York harbor out there, that can`t break on a dime like a car can! Talk the TALK 1) Have you ever kayaked? If So where? 2) Have you ever walk up the steps of the Statue of Liberty before? newYork
