Kayak your Arms Toned

I have come to the realization that I am not a gym person because I spent an entire 3 minutes running on a treadmill this morning and burned a grand total of 18 calories! I think you will agree that it was an epic fail! To actually work out I prefer to go do an activity such as kayaking which costs around 12 per hour to rent the kayak and you can rent the wetsuits also. I like to kayak because it is amazing to do to get some fresh air and take in some scenery. For me one of my problem areas is my arms so this is a terrific workout to tone up your arms. With Kayaking you are basically sitting upright in a kayak and using a paddle to drag water towards your kayak to speed up and to move or sail through the water. I think you can feel the effects working the minute you get out of the kayaking but honestly the day after I didnt feel too sore but I did notice some little results and my arms felt stronger. What arm exercises do you do? =]
