I had seen an array of videos and posts of the julep maven program, but I did not think it was going to be worth it, if I paid $19.99 for it or even when they had the $5 deal. Recently, I had been seeing some posts about this great deal for the box only being a penny! With that great of a deal, I wanted to finally join the bandwagon in trying the julep maven program.
After taking the survey, I was chosen into the Classic with a Twist category and decided to stick with it. Though, I kind of wish I had chosen the It Girl one, so I could just get four of the polishes with the box. EhhI still think that the box that I received isnt too bad, so Im not really complaining.
I got the box in the mail maybe a week later after purchase. I really liked the overall look of the package and how the items were placed in the box. In the box, I received a hand brightener, two packets of samples (hand cream and hand scrub), and two polishes! The first polish is a bright shimmery champagne like color named Maya. The second polish is a really pretty medium blue shade called Taylor.
Overall, I really liked the box, though I might not stay with the program unless I really want something from julep. I feel it is a good deal as you get $40 worth of products for $19.99 and one is able to try new things at a decent price. However, I doubt I would need to use the service every month and might go for one every once in a while, if I need something new or see something amazing.
If you would like to try this out, in my deal I used the code NEWYEAR2012, but I think that it might be done with. Another option would be to use the code NEW5 and get the intro box for $5, which I have found is not really a bad deal at all. My referral link is http://julep.com/?r=18544078
