Hi everyone! Here are a couple more JewelMint pieces that I purchased a few months ago during a promotion, which I believe was a 2 for $30 promo. These two pieces were part of the promotion so I decided to take a leap on these pieces. The first piece I got is the Starry Fleet Earrings and these are one of my favorite JewelMint pieces! They are so well made and surprisingly very versatile considering the design. Speaking of design, these feel very nautical which is appropriate for the upcoming warmer weather. These earrings feature a gold star shape with a black diamond in the middle. The fringe on the bottom is a chain of stars. Stars are actually one of my favorite design motifs, so this incorporates them without looking juvenile. They have a good weight to them but they aren`t too heavy in my opinion. They have an omega back, so that should help with the weight, however if you have sensitive ears it may feel like pinching after a while. The second piece is the Ladder Link Bracelet, which goes with the Ladder Link Necklace I posted about in an earlier post. Essentially it features the same design: gold ladder rungs with hematite sides. It`s an edgy piece just like the necklace, which is good for me since I usually go for the girly feminine pieces. While my necklace came in perfect condition, the bracelet had one of the rungs missing. It was so obvious that I was surprised it wasn`t caught during JewelMint`s supposed quality control. The bracelet sold out before I could exchange it, but I realized it was an easy fix because of the rings used to make this bracelet. So if you have even smaller wrists than me, you could make this bracelet as short as needed just by removing some of the pieces. Quality is good on the Ladder Link Bracelet as well. It has a good weight to it and doesn`t feel cheap. The Starry Fleet Earrings are still available on the JewelMint website, and are almost sold out. Unfortunately the Ladder Link Bracelet is not available on the site, but it could always make a comeback, be released in a new color or you could stalk the Internet (i.e. eBay or blog sales) for one. Do I think these pieces are worth $30 a piece? Definitely not. However, Juicy Couture had a similar ladder style bracelet and it was about $60 at the OUTLET store, so $30 would probably seem like a steal. I think they are worth the $15 I paid for each of them though. Thanks for reading! Have you bought anything from JewelMint lately? All images and content are my own.
