Hi everyone! Last month JewelMint informed their fans on Facebook that they were going to be selling extras of older releases in an exclusive "reserves" sale, and this could possibly be the last time to purchase these older pieces.
Needless to say that the sale was a mess, and many girls ended the night being disappointed and/or frustrated. I`ll admit I was too, but I was lucky enough to snag my #1 on my wishlist.
These are the Jagger earrings and they were released in one of the earlier collections when JewelMint just started out. They are gold plated angulary/spiky earrings that are pretty edgy but glam at the same time. Like many of the older JM pieces this has a very good weight to it.
Because this piece was part of the reserves sale, there is a very good chance that this piece will never be made available again, which is disappointing considering a lot of their best pieces were from these earlier collections and newer members won`t be able to enjoy them. Of course, they have their reasons (mostly financial) which make perfect sense from a business standpoint.
All the pieces from the reserve sale were full priced and you were unable to use discount codes on them, unlike their current pieces. For California residents there was also an added sales tax.
Although these are currently unavailable, JewelMint still comes out with a lot of nice pieces. If you`re not sure what JewelMint is, it`s a monthly subscription service for jewelry. Every piece is $29.99, but you don`t have to purchase a piece every month. You have the option to skip any month but you must do so by the 5th otherwise they will charge you $29.99 and give you a credit good for one piece of jewelry. For more information check out their website.
Thanks for reading. Were you able to snag anything during the reserves sale?
