The reason I got this skirt was because J.Crew has a similar design, but that skirt is $130 and this one was $19.99 at Zara. I actually like the Zara one better. The fit and length is cuter and more suitable for people my age, whereas I think J.Crew one is designed more for women who work in a more professional setting. The colors in this tweed skirt are also nicer compared to the J.Crew one. I like the simple mix of greens and whites. The J.Crew one has blues and greens. Green and white is just easier to match! Look at the two and tell me they don`t look the almost the same!
This skirt looks really cute with any blouse tucked into it. Again, as I mentioned in my review of the Pink Fantasy Mini, lace doesn`t look good tucked into this because it just looks too busy with all the textures going on. This one is not the Fantasy Mini, it`s another style Zara has, but it isn`t available online anymore. The fit on this one was better for me because I got an XS instead of S. I have only bought skirts from Zara, so I can only tell you from this experience that I think their sizes run larger, so size down!
This one doesn`t bunch up as badly, and it`s a little longer than the mini, obviously! I`m going to wear this to Christmas parties for sure :)
