Japanese Steakhouse Styled Shrimp at Home!

Hey Luuuxers! I wanted to share my quick easy way to make Japanese Steakhouse styled shrimp at home. It`s super simple and only requires a few ingredients, plus it takes minutes and tastes delicious!
Here`s what you`ll need:
- Olive Oil
- Soy Sauce
- Herb Butter (you can buy this at the store or make your own)

The first thing you want to do is clean your shrimp, if you have the option buying pre-cleaned shrimp will save you some time. I usually try to remove the tails also just because they`re obnoxious when you`re trying to eat if it`s not a finger food styled dish.
Once the shrimp are all cleaned off press them lightly between two paper towels to make sure they`re nice and dry. Moisture won`t ruin the shrimp, but dry shrimp brown easier.
Now sprinkle some salt and pepper on your shrimp. Put your olive oil in a pan and turn it up to a medium high heat. Once your oil is nice and hot lay your shrimp evenly across the pan. I recommend moving them around the pan if you see they`re not cooking evenly. Once the edges of the shrimp are nice and pink and the shrimp are starting to curl flip them over. It will only take a couple minutes on this side so make sure your butter and soy sauce are ready to go.
Once both sides of the shrimp are fully pink and starting to brown toss in your soy sauce (to taste) and add a nice pad of your herb butter. Toss the shrimp lightly through the butter and soy sauce until it is fully melted and evenly coating the shrimp.
And that`s it! Now you have Japanese Steakhouse styled Shrimp! You can serve it over rice or noodles, or really with anything you want! My family usually goes for a surf and turf.
