Hey guys! So now, instead of posting my favorite nail polishes with my monthly favorites, I will start posting my monthly nail polish Hits&Misses :) Hope you guys enjoy these posts!!
HITS: - Essie In Stitches: This is a pretty recent purchase, and I`ve been loving it! I actually did a nail look with this as a base, so if you want to see it, you can click /viz/notd-pink-sparkle This polish is really opaque and easy to apply! I love this for the Spring time :D - Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Razzle Dazzler: This is the glitter top coat I used for the above nail look :) It`s really nice over a base and super glittery! If you want to use it alone, you`ll have to apply multiple coats since it`s pretty sheer. They have other colors which is neat too :) - Sally Hansen Fairy Teal: This is such a pretty teal color! I think I`m painting my nails this tonight :) It`s a really opaque color, and it goes on super smooth! I think this color would be great for Spring too! - Sally Hansen Oxide: This is the most gorgeous black metallic polish I`ve ever seen! It`s a pretty opaque color, and it just looks really good on your nails. - O.P.I. Russian Navy: I`ve been loving matte nails since I discovered them! This one is a gorgeous navy color, and it looks so chic on your nails! I also did a nail look with this matte color with glossy tips. You can see that /viz/hot-trend-glossy-tips - Sally Hansen Madame-X: This is a super bright red-orange-magenta color! I love it so much on my toes. I think it`s a really good toe color hehe. It`s great for Spring, and it`s really opaque as well! - NYC Starry Silver Glitter: This is actually a pretty opaque glitter for only $2.00! It looks great over any base because it has multi-colored glitter in it.. - Revlon Facets of Fuchsia: This was SO HYPED UP! I finally got it about a month ago, and I love it!! You need about three coats to make it super opaque, but it`s still a really good polish! The glitters are a gorgeous purple color, and the base is black. - Revlon Peach Petal: I love pastel pinks, and this is definitely my favorite! I always go back to this in between colors, because it`s just such a pretty pink color! I think this is a great toe color as well :) - Milani Nail Art in White Canvas: I really love these Milani nail art polishes because the brushes are very precise and the polishes aren`t goopey at all. - Julep in Heather: This polish is a gorgeous purple gunmetal color! You do need two coats but once you have it on, it matches like everything! The Julep polish brushes aren`t that great, but the polishes are pretty. But for $14.00? I`m not so sure if it`s worth it. - Sally Hansen Maximum Growth: I`ve been using this since like Freshman year, and this is my third bottle! It`s a really nice base coat because it dries super fast and is really shiny. I like to use this for a week to give my nails a break :)
MISSES: - Essie Sugar Daddy: This polish is SO SHEER AGHHH!!!! I tried
4 coats and it STILL wouldn`t go on pink -.- - Sally Hansen Commander In Chic: I really love this color, but it`s just too sheer! - Sonia Kashuk Smoke & Mirrors: I really did want to like this polish, but it just doesn`t work for me! It chips SO easily and I don`t even really do much with my hands :/ - Essie Madmoiselle: apparently...this is really raved about...but it`s so sheer! UGH I hate sheer polishes :/ - China Glaze CG In The City: I really wanted to love this polish as well, but it`s just not opaque enough! GR! The glitters barely show up, and I just don`t like it :( - Julep Blake: This is such a pretty Spring yellow color, but it`s just soooo streaky -.- not worth $14 at all! So I hope this post was informative!
