It`s been way to long since I last contributed to this site. After a month and one half of being completely M.I.A from Luuux I decided it was time to come back. I went through something very devastating and difficult to talk during the time I was gone but this morning I woke up with the urge to get on Luuux and blog. I think that was a sign that it`s about time I stopped moping around the house and get back to doing what I love, which of course is blogging.
Earlier this month I wanted to a Christmas Haul, then I wanted to do a 2011 Beauty Faves but every time I would log onto Luuux I would stare at my computer screen then log out. I was not in any mood to blog....I had way too much on my mind that did not include fashion or beauty. I just need time to heal.
Anyways on to what this post is supposed to be about.....January beauty faves. This month like every month, flew by really really quick. Most days than not I would go by without wearing a hint of makeup but as the month went by I started getting back to my old routine of caking on just about every makeup product I own. lol.
This month I have a lot of lippie favorites. January is a month were I tend to look like a Cullen so it`s always nice to add some color with a nice lipstick.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched- I like applying this before applying my lipstick. It helps the lipstick stay on longer and apply smoothly.
Revlon Lasting Finish Lipstick in Crush- I believe I got this lipstick last year during CVS` 75% beauty sale, and I never really paid much attention to it until this month. It`s a really pretty bronzy peach color.
Mark lipclick in Sweetie Pie and bare Hug- I abslutely love the pigmentation and formulation of these lipsticks. And the packaging is really nice and magnetic!
As far as other type of beauty products there havn`t been much that have stood out to me this month. But I have been really loving a new concealer I picked up and also rediscovered an old favorite.
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer in light- the name says it all.....this stuff is really thick and covers all imperfections. It`s like an eraser in a tube. A little goes a long way so this tube will last you forever.
E.L.F Eyebrow Kit in medium- I never really used to fill in my eyebrows but this month I have been doing so quite frequently. I really like this kit. It`s super affordable and is a good alternative to Benefit`s brow zing.
Moving on to non makeup products......
Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion Moisturizer w/spf 15- This stuff is amazing. I even sometime use it on my face.
Avon Skin So Soft Fresh & Smooth shower off hair removal cream- I really really love this stuff. I apply a layer of this before hoping into the shower, wait a few minutes then remove it with the sponge it comes with. It removes hair really fast and better than Nair.
john Frieda Frizz Ease Take Charge curl boosting Mousse- I have always been a fan of Frizz Ease and this one is no exception. I like applying this mousse when I want my hair to look wavy. It doesn`t leave my hair feeling dry and crispy like most mousses do and it smells great.
I decided that from now on every time I post a monthly beauty faves I am also going to include a random non beauty related favorite. This month I have been really loving my new Ninja blender. After 4 years and 2 cheap blenders, my husband and I decided to get a more expensive one that will hopefully last us long than the other 2 did. This blender is absolutely amazing. I love making smoothies and this blends and crushes ice in seconds. I strongly recommend this blender.....it`s $99.99 everywhere I have seen it at but if you use a 20% off coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond you can score this for $80.
That is all for this month`s beauty faves!! I really hope to get back on track with this site and post more often.
Thanks for reading!!
