Hello lovely Luuuxers!
I`m attending a wedding next weekend for my cousin, and I`ve begun thinking about how I`m going to put my outfit together! I decided that I had a lot of dresses in my closet so I wouldn`t buy a new one. Fortunately, I already had a dress that I think is perfect for the occasion!
The theme of the wedding is `rustic` and I think this dress fits the theme nicely! It is formal enough for a wedding but not so formal that it looks out of place at a rustic wedding. The dress is made of a thick jacquard fabric, and is off-white with a black background, and gold stitching throughout. This dress is so stunning in person--the picture does not do it justice! I purchased this dress at A`GACI for less than $30. (I think it was on clearance at the time.) I love how it has the double straps, one on the shoulder and one off. It also has pleats at the waist so that the skirt flares out in a super cute and girly way. Can`t believe I got this gorgeous dress for such a steal!
My black sandals are super cute and comfortable! I bought them recently at Target and I can tell I will be wearing these a lot this summer! They have the cutest gold hardware on the T-strap which makes them able to be dressed up or dressed down.
I am wearing some neutral-colored chandelier earrings I bought last year from Francesca`s Collection. The print on my dress is so bold that I want to wear earrings that will look pretty but not look too busy.
I`m finishing off the accessorizing by adding a few rose-gold stretch bracelets I bought last year from Forever 21. They were cheap but they add a little flair to the outfit and I wear them all the time!
As far as makeup, I am leaning towards using my Naked 2 palette from Urban Decay, since I think the cool neutral tones will go nicely with my dress. I will probably do a daytime smokey look! I will also go for sun kissed cheeks with my NARS Illuminator in Orgasm, neutral pink lips with my L`Oreal Colour Riche lipstick in Julianne`s Nude, and of course, dab my current favorite perfume on my pulse points: Elizabeth and James Nirvana White. It is a floral perfume that is balanced by a lot of clean and crisp notes, and I think it is so refreshing and springlike!
What do you guys think of this outfit? Would you wear this to a spring rustic wedding? I`m really excited to attend--I`m going to dance the night away with my family! :)
