Hello lovely Luuuxers!
The other day when I went to Sephora, I was perusing the NARS section when a woman offered to do my entire makeup! She was a representative from NARS so she used entirely NARS products on me. I had never tried anything from NARS before so I jumped on the opportunity!
She first used the NARS Primer with SPF 50, which seemed really nice! For foundation, she used the Sheer Glow Foundation in Mont Blanc, and did not use a powder to set it. For cheeks, she contoured with Laguna and used Orgasm. On my eyes, she used the Alhambra Eyeshadow Duo and Ashes to Ashes in the crease. She lined my eyes with a navy blue liquid liner in the shade Via Appia, and used their Volumizing Mascara. On my lips, she used a Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bolero and put Orgasm blush on top of that (which was a little strange, but whatever), and then finally put Lip Gloss in Easy Lover on top. That completed the entire look!
In all, the only part of this makeover that I really loved was the blush, which I ended up buying. I also liked the primer. However, I did not think the woman did a very good job at ALL with the rest of my makeup! My foundation looked caked on, my eyeshadow was not well applied, and she made my lips look SO gloopy! (I blotted most of it off for the picture!) It was obvious that she was just trying to push as many products on me as possible. Also, the day after, my skin went BERSERK! I literally had eight zits on my forehead. The last time I broke out that bad was in 6th grade. I`m not sure if it was the foundation, or if she didn`t clean her brushes, or what, but it was awful. My skin is still recovering. It`s not that I don`t recommend getting your makeup done at Sephora, but just make sure that the makeup artist is being sanitary, and speak up when you think they are going a bit overboard on you!
(BTW, I know I`m making a bit of a sour face in the picture! It was the only way I could incorporate how pretty the blush looked!)
