Jane`s January Beauty Favorites

Hello beauties, it is January Favorites time!

I didn`t buy too many new beauty products this month, but I have definitely rediscovered a lot of products and it`s making me super happy!

1. Milani Baked Blush in Corallina
This blush is one of the ever-famous Milani baked blushes, and it is 100% worth the hype! This blush brings life back into my complexion and I am definitely getting my money`s worth with the amazing pigmentation! The gold marbling in the blush comes off as a beautiful glow rather than chunky glitter, which I really appreciate.

2. Too Faced Natural Eye Palette
I have had this palette for quite awhile now, but I still keep coming back to it again and again for everyday wear that it gets to be in my favorites this month. I love using Silk Teddy as a brightening wash on my lids (or in the inner corner for a darker eye look), and Cocoa Puff and Erotica are my favorite crease colors. And of course, Heaven makes a perfect under-brow highlight.

3. Palladio Plump `n Shine Herbal Plumping Lip Gloss in Creamy Pink
Now, I cannot attest to the "plumping" power of this lip gloss, because it didn`t really work at all. I don`t even feel a tingle. That being said, I didn`t really buy it for that purpose anyway. I just loved the color and love Palladio products in general. I picked this up from Nordstrom Rack for a very reasonable price, and I am in love. It goes on so creamy and smooth and it smells like buttercream, mm!! It is is the perfect amount of sheerness that it warms up any lip color I have and gives it that amazing, creamy finish.

4. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipcolor in Fancy
I have several of these lipsticks, and I love them because of their shimmer. I know that most people do not like their lipstick to be shimmery because they don`t want it to look frosty, but when I dab this lipstick on with a light hand, it gives me the perfect amount of iridescence so that my lips look great, no gloss required! My lips are very pigmented and my skin tone is purely neutral, so it is difficult for me to find a color that flatters me and is still visible on my lips. This lipstick is rather sheer, but it warms up my lips to the most perfect pink color to match any eye look. Plus, it really is moisturizing on my flaky winter lips! I always exfoliate before I put it on because the shimmer could accentuate dry flakes, but it makes my lips feel amazing for hours. I highly recommend this lipstick!

5. L`Oreal True Match Naturale Mineral Foundation
With my dry skin, I have always shied away from mineral and powder foundations. However, I am absolutely in love with this foundation and how it makes my skin look and feel. I love the entire True Match line because they match my color better than any makeup I`ve ever tried. (I`m normally N2 in True Match but in this mineral foundation I am Light Ivory.) The brush that comes with the foundation is amazing for buffing in the foundation and I was surprised with how good the coverage was without looking cakey.

6. Physician`s Formula Concealer Twins Duo in Green/Ivory
I love both sides of this dual-ended concealer. The ivory side is awesome for my undereye circles (it is rich and creamy and blends really well), and the green side is excellent for concealing my rosacea redness and the occasional zit. Love it :)

7. Jordana Fabuliner in Black
This liquid liner pen was $1.99 USD at Walgreens! How could you go wrong?! I am a total klutz when it comes to liquid liner and this pen makes it SO easy. Plus it is really black! The only downside is that it smudges more easily than other liquid liner I`ve tried. But for the price, it is amazing and I`ve used it almost every day this month! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try using liquid liner but needs to practice!

8. Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in 103 True Ivory
I used to use this foundation a few years ago and it ended up buried in my makeup collection somehow. I recently bought a new tube and I can`t believe I had forgotten how amazing it is! It really is incredibly long-wearing and the coverage is medium-full while looking natural. This makes my rosacea-red skin look flawless. It is also hydrating without looking greasy (though I cannot speak for any oily-skinned gals because my skin is super dry!). It is also one of the cheapest foundations I`ve ever bought at the drugstore!

9. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in Mint Sorbet
I know, I know, this is a spring color! Silly me! I just love wearing brighter colors in the winter because I find them to be so much more pretty and feminine, and they also help me get over the winter blues! I always get so many compliments when I wear Mint Sorbet, and it is completely opaque in two coats! For less than $3 at Target, it is excellent quality and soooo beautiful!

10. Julep Nail Polish in Michelle
This month was the first time I tried Julep nail polishes, and my life has been changed forever! They are so opaque and rich and the formula is totally idiot-proof (when I do my nails it always looks like a toddler finger painted all over me, but this is a perfect consistency so it doesn`t run!). This shade in particular has been my favorite this month because it is so interesting. It is a deep blue that is a few shades above Navy, so it clearly resembles blue instead of looking closer to black. I`ve had this on my nails for over a week and it still looks flawless!

So, that wraps up my January Favorites! Please let me know if any of these products are ones you have tried! Hope you liked it!
