Jamba Underground

5 years ago

I would like to thank the creator of the Jamba Underground blog for their time and hard work in bringing together all of the recipes I have used in this post. That blog was a MAJOR help and the inspiration for my own post.

Don`t be deceived by your local Jamba Juice menu. They have drinks you may never even know existed on an "Underground" menu (and yes, some of them literally come up as "Underground" on the POS). As a Jamba Juice employee, I`m always looking for new things to make (and try) to keep the menu exciting, and it allows me to give recommendations to customers that no one else can and really lets me tailor each and every guest experience. There are also drinks Jamba does NOT have on their menu that you can customize for your own tastes.

Some (only SOME, because there are A LOT) of the drinks they DEFINITELY know the recipes for, but that are not on the menu (the recipe cards are still openly available for the employees to look at and use as a reference for making these drinks) are:
Fruity Rocks, Orchard Oasis, Peenya Kowlada, Pink Star, Rainbow Skits, Strawberry Shortcake, Matcha Green Tea Mist, Red Gummi, White Gummi, and the Sour Gummi.

While browsing the web for new drink ideas, I stumbled across quite a few that looked absolutely delicious and I know can be made at Jamba Juice to this day. I`ve decided to list a few of my favorites here along with their custom recipes for the original size (because more often than not, if you want one of these, you`ll have to show the person at the register the recipe for the drink and let them build it for you in the order so that it can be made properly):
BANANA CREAM PIE (10 chocolate base, 3 fro yo, 2 banana, 1 ice);
BUBBLEGUM BLAST (6 low-cal dairy base, 4 soymilk, 2 fro yo, 2 strawberry, 1 raspberry sherbet, 1 pineapple sherbet, 3 ice);
BUTTERFINGER (8 chocolate base, 2 carrot juice, 2 peanut butter, 2 fro yo, [optional: 1 chocolate chip, 1 granola] 1 ice)
CARIBBEAN CREAMER (6 mango juice, 4 soymilk, 2 orange juice, 2 fro yo, 3 orange sherbet, 1 strawberry, 1 peach, 1 banana, 1 ice);

MANGO TANGO (8 orange juice, 4 lemonade, 2 strawberry, 1 mango, 1 pineapple sherbet, 1 lime sherbet, 1 ice);
ORANGE DIVINE (4 orange juice, 8 low-cal dairy base, 3 strawberry, 1 banana);
PB&J (12 soymilk, 2 peanut butter, 2 strawberry, 2 fro yo, 1 blueberry, 1 ice);
POMEGRANATE BERRY BLAST (6 pomegranate juice, 6 orange juice, 1 strawberry, 1 blueberry, 1 mango, 1 raspberry, 1 orange sherbet, 1 ice);
PURPLE DINOSAUR (6 pomegranate juice, 6 soymilk, 1 strawberry, 1 blueberry, 1 banana, 1 fro yo, 1 raspberry sherbet, 1 ice);
SAN DIEGO [aka SUNNY DELIGHT] (6 orange juice, 6 lemonade, 2 orange sherbet, 2 lime sherbet, 1 ice);
SCREAMING ORGASM (12 peach juice, 2 pineapple sherbet, 1 strawberry, 1 mango);

WAKE-UP CALL (6 orange juice, 6 lemonade, 1 orange sherbet, 1 pineapple sherbet, 1 strawberry, 1 peach, 1 banana, 2 ice).

I hope you find this useful and delicious! I know I`ll DEFINITELY be trying them ALL!
