H&M has come been under the radar today for its use of a model that many people have said is so thin as to be that she resembles a corpse.
The model is french by the name of Aymeline Valade. She is 26 years old and was used in PR material for the clothing Marni campaign which is the latest high profile designer collaboration to be launched by the firm.
In her pictures, Aymeline wears a three-quarter-length jacket over a white tee shirt and a pencil skirt that matches her jacket and which highlight her slender wrists and waist.
The model (in my personal opinion) has a super pale complexion and hollowed out cheeks. She has dark eyes and dark lips and her hair looks dry and lack luster. Her skin looks kinda nasty and I can even see some of her vains. I def. think that she is way too thin!! I know some people are naturally skinny and I`m not bashing on them, but this model looks just too thin for it to be natural. She already has noticable side effects of being so thin and I think she shouldn`t be a model because of that. I think having her as a model sets an unreachable/unhealthy goal for kids or teenagers who shop at that store (I shop there!) to want to look like her. .
How do you guys feel about this picture?
Do you think she should be fired?
