Earlier today Apple released information on the new iBOOKS 2 for the Pad which is all about providing textbooks to its iPad users. That means instead of buying children books you can get them in App format! This is described as interactive and that it brings the textbook to life so I was intrigued to find out a little more about the product.
The benefits of this new advance
Is that it will save families a ton of money especially if they have a few children. When you think about it you can buy an iPad for $500 and if you were to buy all the textbooks for one year in a child`s acedemic year it would cost probably more. Taking into account how books go in and out of fashion like their is no tomorrow I love this idea. I remember when I was in school we had to buy a new Geography book which cost 65 euros and we used it twice and when back to the old book so had I been able to buy my books on the iBook it would have been better and lighter on my back to carry!
What do you think? Will this new Apple Education drive work out??
