Today my Influenster Vox Box arrived at my home. They don`t do monthly boxes, but every couple of months they try to put together different themed boxes. The last one I received was back in February, I believe. It was a love vox box. This one was the "MOM" Vox Box.
I don`t know that I fully feel that is says "mom" based on the products inside, but I`m not going to complain. I`m thrilled I was selected at all.
Basically, you can sign up with Influenster and open badges based on your interests and lifestyle. As they put together a box, they`ll select the people who best fit the target group the companies (of products inside the box) are trying to attract. You are never guaranteed a box, but they try their best to make sure that everyone will get an opportunity for a box at some point. I will say, though, that I think it is ridiculous that some girls who aren`t mothers lied on their badges in order to receive the MOM box. Other actual moms didn`t receive a box, yet 12 year old girls received the one targeted towards mothers... :- Guys, be honest. Karma comes back around to bite hard. Enough of my soapbox rant.
Inside you`ll typically receive about 5 products; some full sized and others sample.
INSIDE MY BOX:
Ivory Soap Bar: $4.27 for a 10 pack
DenTek Comfort Clean & Fun Flossers: $1.99-$2.99 for full packs
Stash Tea Superfruits Tea Sampler: $3.50
Nektar Sweetener-no price listed
Quaker Soft Baked Cookie: $2.99 for box of 6
imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails: $5.99-$7.99
Dino Lingo Language Learning Programs for Kids DVD Demo: $99.95 for full set (only select moms received this. Some moms received either the DVD or a dish drying mat. I kind of wish I would have gotten the mat, but eh...whatever. My son has watched the DVD and likes it but he is 4 years old and this is a bit too juvenile for him. He is more advanced and knows a cat, dog, bird, etc...that the video is trying to teach.)
Only the imPress nails and the Stash Tea were full sized products as you would buy in the store. The cookie was just a single cookie, the soap a single bar, the sweetener some sample sized packets, and the flossers were a few in a baggie.
I am excited to try the nails. I have been hearing (mostly) good reviews on them. They are in a nice summer appropriate color, too! They came in a lovely berry color called Glisten Up. I will probably try these after I`m ready to remove my current manicure.
I already know I`ll like the Stash Tea. I received Stash Tea in my last Vox Box and became hooked. I have been buying Stash Tea now ever since.
All in all, I`d say this is a decent box. I think I liked the Love box better but how much can one complain when they are receiving free products to try out?
