Indian Poori Bread and Chana Masala

I was craving Indian so my friend and I went to get some. We ordered 3 dishes to share, this is one of the first! It looked interesting and we love trying new things so we had to order this.

For an appetizer, we tried poori bread with chickpeas. The poori is a deep fried that was piping hot and super good! I thought it would be crunchy but it actually was really soft. It was so sad when we ran out I could have eaten way more.

On the side were some chickpeas that had a bunch of spices, also very tasty. The peas are called chana masala and they include "onion, chopped tomatoes, coriander seed, garlic, chiles, ginger, dried mango powder (amchur, sometimes spelled "amchoor"), crushed pomegranate seed (anaardana) and garam masala."
