Hello Everyone =)
I hope youre all having a good day =)
So yesterday I went to an Indian Restaurant downtown and the food wasnt that bad! The restaurant was a buffet style restaurant.
Although it was a buffet, I only had a few things which are:
- samosas with a variety of
rice and naan (which is like this bread like substance )with a variety of curries such as
- mango chicken
- curry chicken
- paneer (its like tofu) with spinach
- chickpea curry
- lentil curry
- gulab jamun (circular fried substance soaked in syrup)
- rice pudding
Overall, my favourite part of the meal is what others usually enjoy as well: the naan and butter chicken. The curry part of it was amazing, and with the naan bread, it was really tasty, I really enjoyed it! This is probably the second time Ive ever eaten at an Indian buffet, and I was impressed. I had to admit though, the selection was limited, but it was a small restaurant. And also, who am I to complain, I pretty much ate the butter chicken and naan. They also had other curries such as fish curry and goat curry, but I do not like the really heavy curries such as those. Im sure they would have been alright, if I gate them a try :P also we requested a paneer curry; however, it was a lot more pricy then expected! That one curry cost $11, which was ridiculous considering that each we each had to pay $11 for the buffet itself. To be honest it wasnt even that great.
Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed the post.
