In my Influenster Mom Vox Box I received a full sized pack of imPress press-on manicure nails. Basically, they are false nails, pre painted that you peel away a backing and can easily press them on. You`ll have a fully completely manicure in moments. They also claim to last up a week* (*If applied properly). It also mentions having superior shine and being able to remove the nails easily. The side of the box says you should be able to peel off, press on and have salon results. I removed my previous manicure in order to try these out. As you can see, the nails look a bit large (width-wise) for my nail beds. The box comes with 24 nails in 12 sizes. However, some of my nails still wouldn`t match up perfectly with the artificial nails. I selected the closest fits. Their box says to select a size small if none fit but that felt pinched when pressed on. As you can see, my nails are still visible when my hand is held at an angle. They don`t peek out over the tops but I also didn`t want to clip and file them down too much because I know these nails aren`t going to be on too horribly long. The length is comfortable. For those with very short nails, these will add a touch of length without making you feel like you are wearing claws. For the most part, they all just peek over my finger tips a bit. It is easy to type and do day to day activities while wearing these. That brings me to my next point. I am a full-time stay at home wife and mother. My days are spent doing everything from laundry, to mopping floors, to chopping up foods to prepare for meals, to dusting, etc. My hands take a good beating through the day. These held up very, very well! I was impressed! (haha, no pun intended!) I really expected these to start popping off right away. I can take my finger and press very firmly onto another nail trying to get it to lift and it doesn`t. This is certainly an improvement in the world of press on nails. I can remember being very young and wanting to play dress up so my mom would buy me a pack of nails (I can`t even remember the brand anymore) that I could stick on. At the time, you`d peel off a sticker, place it on your nail, pull away the paper and you`d be left with a clear coating of sticker-like glue. Then, you`d stick the nail over top. Well, those nails would pop up with the tiniest bit of pressure to them. Not only are these holding up better, but they have less steps involved! I have heard mostly good things about the imPRESS nails, but have read a couple of negative ones, too. I have to say my feelings are mostly positive. I don`t know if others didn`t apply them properly or if they simply have more oils that naturally seep through in their nail beds which break down the glue on these... anything is possible and as with every product on the market... some things just work better for some than for others. I think if I were in a pinch and needing something on the go to slap onto my nails for an evening event or something, I`d definitely buy these. However, because they don`t fit my nails as well as I would like, I would reserve these purely for those nail emergency while on the go kind of moments. These will run you about $5.99-$7.99 depending on where you purchase. They have 36 colors and patterns so you are sure to find something that suits your style and tastes.
