This is something you rarely see and that`s a professional athlete admits that he`s overpaid. But that`s just what happened with Mark Teixeira of my husband`s hated New York Yankees. The first baseman prior to joining the Yankees was a feared hitter, known for hitting home runs and just being great overall. Turning 33 in April, his days as a prime player is winding down but yet he`s still owe $90 million dollars through 2016. I wouldn`t mind even a 1/100th of that! His interview was with the Wall Street Journal but excerpts can be find below.
1. As an athlete that`s overpaid what do you think he should do about it?
