First had a sample of this at my local Ikea store. And at the time, it was on sale for $2.99 for a 600g box. But I decided to not purchase it because I had enough snacks at home.
Then, a week later, when I wanted to buy it, they didn`t have it!
I asked the customer service reps there and they told me it would be stocked in 2 weeks.
2 weeks later, I went and they didn`t have it!
Yesterday, I called Ikea and they told me unless I had a product code, they can`t find it. Well...unfortunately my brain was not meant to memorize 10-15 numbers of Ikea Product codes for food. But since I wanted to see the plastic drawers, my boyfriend and I went anyways.
And I`m glad we did! They stocked the oat crisps again and 1/2 of the original pile was already gone. But they didn`t have the sale, so I bought it at $5.99 a box =(.
These oat crisps taste like a mix of frosted flakes and life cereal. A bit of a weird combination but one that I like. =) The best part is, the cookies should be gluten-free as they`re made with oats. I put them in a huge container after opening them to preserve the crispiness of the cookies. You can also get them with a layer of chocolate on top but those cost $6.99 a box.
If you ever go to Ikea, I definitely recommend you trying them out if they have samples, it`s amazing =)
