My coworkers went to IKEA for lunch yesterday and they brought back some goodies for everyone to share.
I had one of those Chocolate Heart Cookies. =) A pack costs about $1.99 and they`re very good.
As you can tell from the photo, they`re more like inverted oreos as instead of a chocolate cookie, they use vanilla and milk chocolate and the cream inside is fudge. I love the heart in the middle.
One thing I like about IKEA cookies is that they aren`t very sweet, which is good because I don`t like overly sweet cookies like the ones Mr. Christie makes. The fudge was very creamy and smooth though there was not enough of it since the cookies were quite thick. I found the cookies to be very crumbly, though not dry.
The bottom cookie was milk chocolate but it didn`t taste like milk chocolate, it had a slight taste of vanilla and malt instead, which blends in with the chocolate cream perfectly, or I find.
Though oreos are a lot sweeter, I would prefer oreos more because the cookie is a lot thinner.
Have you guys tried this?
