Iguazu Falls is situated on the border between Brazil and Argentina. The falls divide the upper and lower portion of the Iguazu River. These falls are 4 times the size of our Canadian Niagra Falls. There are 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguazu Falls. It is said that there was a "god that planned to marry a beautiful woman named Naipí, who fled with her mortal lover Tarobá in a canoe. In rage the god sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall." You can visit the falls from either Brazil or Argentina, however the side that`s in Argentina has a wider view and the side in Brazil has a walkway along the canyon. I personally love visiting areas with waterfalls and hope to visit South America one day.
What do you think about Iguau Falls?
Would you visit?
Do you like waterfalls?
Are there waterfalls where you live?
Would you have the patience to count 275 waterfalls? Lol
