So I`ve been wanting to get a little crafty lately since I`ve been enjoying bracelet stacking. Couple weeks ago, these were two plain large bangles that I bought from this one store at the mall for only a dollar each. The way the bracelet was cut out, actually would allow you to weave something in between so I decided to get them for this simple DIY project.
I bought this teal ribbon for only a couple bucks and just weave it through. It was really easy and only took me like 5 minutes to complete it. I thought it would be cute to add a little bow. I`m very happy with how this one turned out.
As for the silver bangle, the pattern of the cut out was different. I forgot to take a picture of how it looked before I started. I used a roll of pink gift wrapping ribbons and with the same concept, just weave through it. It did take me a little longer to complete this one because I had to do it in 3 rounds. Because this is just a gift wrapping ribbon, I didn`t do a bow like how I did with the gold bangle. I don`t love this one as much as I love the gold bangle but nonetheless, this was a fun way to add color and oomph to a boring plain bracelet.
Ever tried DIY project with jewelries?
