In the Summer I prefer to drink cold beverages. Homemade iced tea is, most often, the most refreshing beverage for the Summer. Im not oblivious to the process of making homemade iced tea, yet sometimes I wish I was oblivious. At times making homemade ice tea can become messy and tedious, so whenever I am at the supermarket I try to find products that can make my venture at making ice tea quick and easy. One product I recently found at the supermarket was Tetley Infusions; this product is supposed to be a more natural substitution for powdered drink mixes. Tetley infusion is extremely easy to use: all you have to do is get 500ml of cold water and squeeze in one pouch of Tetley infusion. The product tastes mediocre and the recommended amount of water, 5ooml, produces a beverage that is bland and tasteless. Thus, I recommend using 300ml of water. In one box you get 6 pouches for 4 dollars Canadian, which averages to be about 67 cents a serving. I personally wouldnt repurchase this product. Yet, if you want something to flavour your water that is low in calories, I suppose it would be a decent product because it only has 50 calories per serving. All in all, I was very pleased with the product, so I wouldnt recommend it for substitution for homemade iced tea.
