I`ve been reading a lot lately and today I wanted to delve into something a little more light weight and short.
I picked up this book called "I don`t want to be crazy" by Samantha Schutz.
It`s a novel more for teens so I wasn`t expecting anything too in depth. It`s a true story about a girl (the author) going away to college and experiencing panic attacks and depression.
It`s written in poetry format.
I`m nearly done the book. It`s a pretty quick read. I`m not really impressed with it. The poetry aspect of it seems pretty unnecessary. It just seems like she`s written in her diary and just re-wrote it to be in a poem format but it doesn`t flow like a poem should at all.
The story is okay but I`m not connecting with the character which is odd since I have the same illnesses she does.
