Prototype with muscles and tendons can greet humans and perform various movements.
Almost a year ago, the University of Sussex (UK) published a video showing a robot that mimics the human in many ways. Named ECCEROBOT, the prototype has a human skeleton, muscles and tendons. This machine can imitate human actions and respond to some commands.
Despite being an "old news", it is very popular due to a recent documentary aired on BBC. In the video of the issuer, the mathematician Marcus du Sautoy examines some of the functioning of the robot and the machine greeted by the interviewer. According to Professor Owen Holland, this robot will move us closer to artificial intelligence.
