Old Navy Haul

I love shopping at Old Navy they have great items for everyday at reasonable prices. I also recently discovered that they have a tall section on their website. Im 6 feet tall, so finding pants and skirts that are long enough is always a challenge. Since they were having an end of summer sale online recently, I decided to take advantage of the sale and order a few items.

The best part is they have a no hassle return policy. You can return nearly any item (except some clearance) in store or via prepaid postage for an instant refund!

I went a little nuts in the jeans department and ordered a bunch of different pairs since they were all on sale, and in the tall length. I knew that any that didnt work out could be returned with no problems.
(BTW, my camera was being really funny and taking extra dark pictures (as you can tell by the second picture), so I took the pictures from the site so you guys can see what I bought).

I bought 4 different pairs of jeans: a dark wash boot cut, a medium wash relaxed fit, bright orange skinny jean (the colour was called Found Nemo or something LOL), and a dark wash trouser pair. The orange skinny jeans were only $8.99 which is why I decided to take the chance, but I think I may return them. They fit kinda strange on my hips and they are super fluorescent. I love neon, but I dont know if I would wear these very often. The rest of the jeans are great perfect length and fit really well!

I also bought a pair of yoga pants in the tall length. I already own a regular length pair of ON yoga pants, but they are a little too short (they hit above my ankle). These are a great length I may order some more of these in the future!

I also ordered some short since they were really inexpensive. I know the weather is getting cooler, but I figure I can always use them next year. I bought 1 denim pair in white, 1 khaki pair in this bright neon yellow/green and 1 khaki Bermuda pair in navy. Each of these was around 8 dollars which is a great steal!

I also ended up buying some dolman sleeve shirts (these were also available in a tall length! Sometimes even shirts can be a little too short I have a fairly long torso, and especially long legs). I already own the same one in black and decided to buy 2 more 1 in purple and 1 in blue (I put up the picture of the blue). Oddly enough, I loved the purple colour online, and wasnt as impressed with the blue I thought it looked a little faded, but again took a chance since they have an amazing return policy. In person, the blue is a lot richer and brighter, but the purple one looks kind of washed out. I will probably be returning it.

Next, I bought this orange swim cover up. I bought I similar cover up from Old Navy 2-3 years ago, and I love wearing it. It is almost like a boho style tunic top, so I even wear it with shorts in the summer. Ive been looking for similar styles ever since, because I always get compliments when I wear the original one. When I saw this one online, I was really excited. Unfortunately for me, it just didnt work in person. It is really, really sheer (even more so than the picture) and doesnt fit the same. The beadwork at the neck is really heavy on the flimsy fabric and drags down the neckline. Also the fabric is kinda itchy not at all like the other one I own. This was a disappointment and I will definitely be taking it back.
I must say, my absolute favourite purchase is the black, cream and beige colour block skirt I bought! This skirt is so flattering and so cute! Ive already worn it a few times and its really comfortable. Ive worn in dressed up with a blazer for work, and dressed down for a lunch date with some friends. I love this skirt!

Last but now least, I threw in some basic into my shopping cart undies and socks. Not terribly exciting, but fairly reliable LOL

Over all, I can totally see myself ordering from Old Navy again. That tall section is going to be my new best friend!
