plain fabric (off white works best, but you could also do other colors or patterns)
polyester fiberfill (aka pillow stuffing)
needle &thread or sewing machine
Heat `n` Bond adhesive
black felt stick-on numbers
1. Make your pillow: cut fabric into squares depending on how many letters you want. Then begin sewing two of the squares together with the right sides facing in. Make sure to leave some space un-sewed so you can stuff the pillow.
2. Turn the pillow right side out. Now it`s time to make the letters! Use Microsoft Word or whatever program you have to type letters in large uppercase. Print them out, trace, cut, and then trace again onto a sheet of heat `n` bond. You will have to do the tracing one more time for the felt too. Cut the letters out and put heat `n` bond between felt and pillow. Iron to secure.
3. Stick the small numbers on the bottom right corner of each pillow. Here`s the letter frequency if you need help with what goes where: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrabble_letter_distributions
4. You`re done! Just stuff the pillows, sew up any open space, and enjoy your new creative cushions!
