So this morning on CNN one of their tech guys were going over the new phones coming out and HTC EVO 3D was the new one for Sprint (the service I use). I currently have the HTC Hero and think it`s okay. It use to suck until I upgraded til Android 2.2.
I`ve been relunctant to upgrade to HTC EVO because of the additional fees for it being a 4G phone. But going online and reading about the EVO 3D, I`m ready to jump when it comes out. The phone is just LOADED. The only thing missing is the Kickstand, as my colleague has a EVO and he uses it to watch video on his desk at times (when he should be working. lol)
So here are some of the great specs:
"4.3-inch qHD 960 x 450-pixel Autostereoscopic 3D display, 4GB of RAM, 1GB ROM, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU, dual rear 5-megapixel cameras with dedicated camera button, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and 1730mAh battery. That`s not all, though. The HTC EVO 3D will run Android Gingerbread 2.3 with HTC Sense UI and it will also output 1080p video via HDMI and output 720p 3D content as well. There will also be a Blockbuster 3D on demand app as well as YouTube 3D"
Yeah I know Sprint doesn`t have as good as service as Verizon, but their plans are way cheaper for more stuff. Do you use Sprint, start planning on getting this phone if you do!
No word on cost yet. But I expect at least $250 with 2 year plan commitment.
