Hey guys! I`ve recently been getting to the end of some of my lipglosses, at which point I do something I learned from nurburxo on Youtube. As I`m sure many of us have noticed, when you finish a gloss there`s still plenty of product left on the sides. If you`re trying to finish a gloss up you may not want to do this, but when it`s a colour/shade you like, you may want to get the last bits of it!
The technique I learned from Nur (nurburxo) is quite simple. You take off the lid and wedge the scissors underneath the plastic part at the top of the gloss. You then move your scissors left to right to loosen this cap, and eventually the plastic slides out. The purpose of this bit is to prevent the overflow or leakage of product, but when you only have a little left this is preventing you from getting what you paid for, so pull it out!
Once you`ve pulled it out you will be able to put the lid back on the way you did before, but you`ll be able to get so much more product out since the opening becomes much bigger! I do this with all of my lipglosses because they last months longer this way.
Will you try this?
