How to use baked eyeshadows wet
It is very simple to get the most out of your baked eyeshadows; simply use them wet. Now when I say use them wet, I am not talking about using water. Water can introduce bacteria into your baked eyeshadow, so it is best to either use a product like MACs Fix+ spray or a saline eye drop solution like Visine. Simply put a little onto a clean dish, and then wet your brush (just dampened, not soaked). When working with wet shadows it is best to use a stiff flat shader brush, so that it holds its shape when wet. Then use your brush to pick up product from the baked eyeshadow, even wiggling the brush back and forth a bit if necessary to get plenty of color onto your brush. When applying product to the lid you do not want to swipe. Use a gentle patting motion to apply color, starting where you want the most color and slowly patting outward to avoid harsh lines. This will also give the look of a blended edge, though it may still be necessary to go in afterward with a dry blending brush to finish the job.
