How to treat Keratosis Pilaris (bumps on your arms)

Hi guys! Welcome back to another one of my posts.

By clicking on this how-to guide, I assume that you too having Keratosis Pilaris or know someone that has it and wants it GONE!
This skin disorder, sometimes referred to as `chicken skin` is the result of overproduced keratin in the skin, which results in red bumps all over the skin. Unfortunately, it is genetic BUT fortunately, it is very easy to get rid of! Just follow these steps!

1. Make sure you`re moisturizing daily: I have naturally very dry skin so it`s a given that I moisturize every day. I prefer to use the Vaseline Coco Radiance lotion ($11) as it`s been my dry-skin-holy-grail for that past 7 years. I slather this one after every shower (darn you hard water!) and every morning. It makes my skin so soft and gives it such a healthy glow. It smells good, too!

2. Exfoliate: I exfoliate my arms every single time I am in the shower to help keep those annoying red bumps at bay! I use the SoftSoap Coconut Scrub ($7) . Not only does this polish my skin, but it smells incredible! It keeps my skin smooth, and totally got rid of my red bumps!

That`s it! Two easy steps to clear up your arms and make them smooth again! This is my secret trick you guys. For a period of time I wasn`t using an exfoliator and was forgetting to moisturize, and thats when my arms got the Keratosis Pilaris again. I didn`t know why it had come back until I started back up with my routine and I realized that keeping dead and dry skin away really makes a huge difference!

If this is something that you or someone you know is dealing with, try my steps above with the mentioned products and lets me know how it turns out!

Happy skin is good skin!

xx - Court
